📢 Phase 2 of STP's Dengue Project 2025 – Distribution

STP marked a milestone in its Phase 1 Dengue Project 2025 with a major community distribution drive in Korail. To help families protect themselves from dengue and support their daily needs, we provided:
🛏️ 1,200 mosquito nets to safeguard households from mosquito bites
🍱 1,200 food packets to strengthen community resilience

This initiative reflects our commitment to standing beside vulnerable communities with both protection and nourishment. By uniting public health and food security, we aim to turn prevention into empowerment, making Korail a safer and healthier place for all. 🌱✨

🌍 Introducing the Dengue Project 2025: A Fight for a Healthier Future in Korail Slum 🌍

At Share the Privilege Foundation, we believe that no one should have to live in fear of preventable diseases. With Dengue rapidly becoming a major public health crisis in Bangladesh and the recurring nature of epidemics and healthcare industry failures, especially in underfunded communities like Korail Slum, we are stepping up to make a difference.

Our goal is simple: Raise awareness, prevent transmission, and empower the community to protect themselves from the devastating effects of dengue. We will be working across three key phases:

1️⃣ Awareness: Hosting interactive workshops in schools, spreading knowledge on dengue symptoms, prevention, and early treatment

2️⃣ Prevention: Distributing mosquito nets, electric mosquito bats, and repellents to over 1,500 households

3️⃣ Healthcare Support: Strengthening local clinics with essential supplies like diagnostic kits and IV fluids, so they are better equipped to handle dengue cases

With the support of over 50 volunteers, we aim to reach 8,000+ people and create lasting change in Korail Slum. Join us in this fight—because together, we can restore health, dignity, and hope to those in need.
