Social media encourage people to continue endless conversation 24/7. The new content we see always seems novel and productive,
but in reality, it doesn’t present you with suitable things that you really care about. The addictive quality of social media is due to our attraction to variable rewards that happen randomly rather than in a predictable pattern. You can not predict which refresh of your newsfeed will bring you stimulating information or likes, so it continues to take away your attention for extended periods.

IDEA 3 : DEEP WORK IS FULFILLING
Shallow work is deceptively bad because it feels productive and meaningful. Answering emails feels like you are doing something. Staying on the top of office conversation makes you meaningful towards happiness and fulfillment. Deep work is when you are capable of tackling your thorniest problem. Because these problems often yield the greatest reward. Deep work is often far more rewarding than shallow work.
