st eighteen years. Dr. Phillips served as the General Manager for CITA Radio and was one of the founding members. Dr. Carol Phillips answered the call of the Lord from eleven years old and as a teenager, her Saturdays were busy doing the work of the Lord handing out tracks, as her father who was a prominent Preacher at Speakers Corner, Hyde Park, in London. Dr. Carol Phillips returned to the Caribbean in 1985, she was invited to a church at Market Hill, St. George’s, Grenada and immediately felt the pull of God on her life. She became a member of that church, worshipping there until her family moved to first St. Kitts/Nevis in 1992. In 1993 the family was relocated to Barbados. Their new home was located at Philip Drive, Pine Gardens which is a short walk from and to the People’s Cathedral, at Bishops Court Hill. Again she found the church which would become her home church for the next twelve years. She has served at Teen Challenge Barbados as Finance Director and Head of the School (set up by her) for teenage drug addicts
In 2001 Dr. Carol attended West Indies School of Theology Barbados, graduating in 2004. In 2005 Dr. Phillips was ordained. Dr. Carol spent four (4) years as the Barbados Director of Operation Mobilization, which she mobilized to carry out a relief effort to Grenada after the passing of hurricane Ivan in September 2004. She has travelled widely as a missionary to Europe, India, South Africa and the Caribbean. The Word of the Lord to her was that “I have called you to a difficult task and no one, not Pastor, Priest or King would be able to stop you from doing My will”; confirming this to her in (Jer. 1: 5.) She believes that this is what gives her the tenacity to persevere during the times of severe testing. Rev. Dr. Carol Phillips D.D recieved an Honarary Doctorate in 2010 by The International Theological Seminary of California. And serves as the Senior Pastor of Truth in Love Ministries. One December 02 2012 Truth in Love Ministries and NBG Productions was launched. Dr. Carol Phillips is the proud mother of three and grandmother of five.
