Project Management can be a challenging yet rewarding career path. For some, the process can seem like a long one, with the various disciplines and requirements one can find under the broad umbrella of Project Management, however, we have some tips on how you can fast track your project management career and reach success.
1. Focus on your soft skills.
What existing soft skills do you have that you believe will make you a good project manager? Time Management? Leadership? Adaptability? These are all skills which, once developed, will make you into a successful project manager.
2. Develop your technical skills.
What other skills do you possess? What is your specialty? By focusing on what you're already excellent at you can build your project management career around it. For example, are you good at IT? The IT space is always looking for technical project managers to manage projects within that space.
By doing the above and working to complete your project management certifications, you will have a comprehensive and swift journey to a successful project management career!

When preparing for any PMI exam, there is a time commitment that comes along with each certification.
Not just with the courses and hours required to complete the examination, but with the requirements for maintaining your certification once you have successfully completed the examination.
Each certification has a different time commitment which will begin from the time you decide to start your certification and will continue on for as long as you have your certification.

As you may know, Project Managers exist across a number of industries, bringing order to otherwise hectic and catastrophic project endeavours.
