Dr. Clarke’s interest in this area led to a number of retreats and quiet days for not only members of St. Thomas but also members of other Anglican Churches as well as other denominations. The Foundation is established to create opportunities for persons to explore the spiritual journey and to be exposed to various forms of meditation. The Foundation is non-denominational and does not discriminate against other faith traditions. The Foundation recognises the work of the Parliament of Religions and holds to the view that the various faith traditions can learn from each other. The CLF seeks to make opportunities available for persons to learn more about meditation and be exposed to the various traditions and practices. The intention continues to be to offer at least one retreat per year. Retreats in the past have been held at Codrington College, Marian Retreat House and Naniki Resort.
