Multicultural Australia
Established in 1998, we are one of the leading settlement agencies in Queensland providing support to refugees and migrants through community development, advocacy and a range of client services.

We recognise that understanding and respecting the histories, cultures and continuing contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples is an essential part of building a truly inclusive Australia.
This NAIDOC Week, alongside the First Nations communities on whose lands we live, work and gather, we celebrate this year's theme, β50 Years of Deadlyβ. Honouring five decades of First Nations strength, culture, leadership, advocacy and achievement. It is a tribute to the Elders, communities and changemakers who have shaped the NAIDOC movement and continue to lead the way today.
Every day, we contribute to creating welcoming, safe and inclusive communities and are privileged to welcome and support people from refugee and migrant backgrounds as they build new lives in Australia. Many of the individuals and families we support are beginning their journeys on lands that have been cared for by First Nations peoples for tens of thousands of years. Creating opportunities for new arrivals to learn about, connect with and build respectful relationships with First Nations peoples and communities is an important part of fostering belonging, understanding and reconciliation.
NAIDOC Week provides an opportunity for our diverse communities to celebrate the cultures, histories and achievements of Australia's First Peoples, while reflecting on our shared responsibility to listen, learn and walk together.
We encourage our staff, clients, volunteers and community members to attend local NAIDOC Week events, listen to First Nations voices, celebrate culture and continue learning throughout the year.
Together, we walk together in solidarity of the pain of the past, celebrate the strength and leadership of the present, and in the shared hope for a more connected, inclusive and reconciled future.
