Our final Starters class for the term was a special one!

To finish the term, we held a tummy time sensory bag workshop, with each family creating a sensory bag to take home and continue the play at home.

Sensory bags are such a simple, low-cost way to encourage tummy time, reaching, pushing, visual tracking and sensory exploration. They can be taped to the floor, a high chair or even a vertical surface to keep little ones engaged as they strengthen the muscles they’ll need for rolling, crawling and beyond.

One of our favourite parts of Starters is sharing practical, evidence-informed ideas that families can easily recreate at home. We hope these sensory bags become a well-loved part of your baby’s playtime!
