Rapid Racing

Race 2 started P5 finished P3 after great close racing with the local guy Martin Farkus in a BMW until he lost traction in the tight right hander turn 6.
Also Brent Edwards had a mechanical failure. So I’ll take 3rd, making the three Nissans and Three Albury boys 1,2 and 3!
Two races today all on Kayo first at 11.30 South Aus time.

Yesterday’s practice turned into a typical race car day? Just after I mentioned how well the Silvia is behaving, we discover a major oil leak after practice 2.
Turned out the cam seal has let go, so off to Adelaide for a new seal while Seato stripped the front of the engine, by 9.30 she was back together and running, thanks to Matt Simms for your valuable help.
Quali this morning then racing today and tomorrow!

Started P4 got jumped by two cars off the line, but fought back to 4th after a couple of laps, by then I’d lost the lead cars to chase.
Car still good, driver needs a tune up!
