This mare was reported to be showing no outward signs of discomfort. Eating well, no excessive salivation, and working comfortably under saddle.

I’m sure she’ll be feeling a lot more comfortable now.

Another awesome day at Valley Equine Veterinary Centre yesterday. Lovely clients with some challenging dental cases. Looking forward to the next dental day next week.

We certainly had a lot of very happy horses and clients yesterday thanks to Mick’s dental expertise and exceptional attention to detail, and due to popular demand we now have several more ‘Dental Day’ dates locked in with many more to be added over the next couple of months.

My friends and awesome clients Rick Dabner and Eve Jarvis with a huge team effort managed to evacuate 61 horses to safety from the Wanneroo fires. Sadly they lost their house, stables, livelihood and all their personal possessions and left with only the clothes they were wearing. Rick and Eve are always the first people to help others, so if you are able to help please do.

Equident would like to welcome Nellie Eaves and Charisma Repertoire to the Equident sponsored riders team.

Nellie is a 12 year old rider from the Perth metropolitan area. Nellie has been riding since she was 6 years old, although only began competing in June last year. Nellie has certainly found her eventing feet this year and joined EA where she has placed second in the last two EA events.

Her passion lies in eventing although this year she has been competing in many disciplines including eventing, show jump and tetrathlon.
