As the COVID situation begins to change in some countries, and the numbers begin to settle and life begins to return to a new normal, people are begining to reflect on what they learnt through this time period.

I have been reading the surveys coming out of Australia, and an overwhelming number of people are reflecting on how great it was to reconnect with their families, to be there for their kids more, to have time to check in on their parents and grandparents.

They have been reflecting on how nice it was to slow down the pace of their life and have time to just be. It resulted in them laughing more, experiencing more and learning more about the people living around them.

They have been reflecting on the benefits of working from home and a reduced communute. The sense of achievement they felt when they cooked something from scratch, or completed a DIY project around the house.

They have been reflecting on the reminder that life as we know it can change it in an instant and promising themselves they won't take the little things, like giving someone a hug or the ability to buy goods such as toliet paper for granted again.

As life slowly returns to 'normal', I want you to take a moment to reflect on what you learnt during the COVID period, and what you want to take forward with you into the future. I then want you to take a further moment to reflect on how you can incoporate these things in to your life and then I want you to start taking the necessary action to do so.
