For years, I've struggled to find the language to explain what we do at Felt.
People come to us for marketing, yes and we help them tell their stories, develop strategy, create content, build communities.

Ensure they're radically and authentically visible in a busy, busy world.

But it has always been so much more than that.

From the very first page I was handed back in 2011, I instinctively approached marketing differently. I had to be authentic. I couldn't write words that weren't true or build strategy that ignored the values, energy and lived experience of the people I was working with. I didn't have the language for it then but I knew it was the only way I could do this work.

Looking back now, I can see that the businesses who found Felt weren't just looking for marketing support. They were looking for someone who could help them communicate in a way that allowed them to be themselves.

And no question 2026 is the year to embed this approach more generally - the most effective marketing doesn't come from trying to sound like someone else or keeping up with every new trend. It comes from becoming more deeply yourself.
From embodying what you stand for, what truly drives you.

Because AI is an awesome partner to create with but it can't live your story, cultivate your relationships or embody your values.

It can't replace the wisdom you've earned through experience or the unique way you see the world.

In this new era of business, I KNOW our competitive advantage will not come from producing more content but from sharing more of what's in our heart, what we really think and feel, as standard. Not the exception.

And today that's what drives what Felt is deeply about - not just helping businesses market themselves. But helping them integrate and embody what they already know, deep inside, to be true. (Re)Connecting with the way to do this that is right for them, and their business.

Because when we do that, the energy of our communication changes and in small, step by step but meaningful ways, the world changes too.

And... mostly I want to say - stop taking those 'The exact Claude prompt I used for 30,000+ extra followers in 30 days!' posts onboard... (it's BS anyway) And feeling crap about what you do as a result. Like you're behind, yet again.

'Cos you're not. You're just finding your way. And it's possible that way *isn't* going to be about mass followers on Insta - a metric even Meta is moving away from. But that doesn't mean it isn't wonderful to share your story, and that it will be heard - by exactly the people that connect with it. 💗✨
