We wish to advise of 2 recent volunteer appointments – Junior Cricket Manager and Merchandising Officer.

Our new Junior Cricket Manager is Brett Whitmee who is taking up the role that has been vacant for some time. Brett is also a Stage 1 Team Coach.

Our new Merchandising Officer is Lucinda Pettit. Lucinda is also a junior team parent.

Please join with us in welcoming both of them to their new roles and please support them as they get acquainted with the roles in our busy summer season start up period.

Congratulations to Anush scoring his first 50 -not out off 42 balls helping his u12 Div 2 to their first win of the season- winning by 46 runs.

WPC Cricket Members – You’re Invited!

As we gear up for our Sign On/Open Day and an exciting summer season ahead, we’re inviting all members to be part of the planning.

The majority of our next General Meeting will be dedicated to planning and preparing for Sign On Day and the activities that will help make this season a success.

If you’re unable to attend in person, a Microsoft Teams option will be available, with the link shared once the agenda is finalised. However, we strongly encourage members to attend in person where possible, as online connectivity can sometimes be unreliable.

This is a great opportunity to have your say, share ideas, and help make our Sign On Day and the upcoming season a huge success. We hope to see you there!

We URGENTLY need club members to volunteer for 1 of the following 3 vacant positions – Junior Cricket Manager, Equipment Officer and First Aid Contact, Merchandise Officer. If we are not able to fill them then tasks usually done by these roles will not be done e.g. coordination of the Entry Level teams and programs - Blasters, U10/Stage 1 programs, availability of equipment, acquisition and distribution of clothing. It is unfair to have to ask existing volunteers to take on extra work to cover these roles.
