Let your little monkey design and decorate a calico shopping bag. Your kit comes with:
- a blank calico shopping bag with 50cm handles
- 6 x 30ml of fabric paint (ages 3+) in colours red, blue, yellow, green, black and white. You can use individually or mix together to make wonderful colour combinations
- 2 thick handled paint brushes - great for little fingers

At times our little monkeys can need some guidance with their designs... we can help by drawing or tracing on a design in pencil then they can paint over, hiding the pencil lines.
Below is an example of how you can do a Christmas tree - we printed the graphic from a google search then traced on to the calico bag and a little monkey did the rest.

Stuck inside today with the rain so did a bit of experimenting with my little monkeys for a 'festive' design 🎄
Paint + glitter = a great sparkly paint for the project
Excited to share that it looks like it has worked opening up the opportunity that those little monkeys that like a touch of sparkle can do so on their bag designs. Sprinkle glitter on to paint and mix (please note that I have not tested washing when glitter in paint but i'd imagine some would come off, so wash on its own)
