We host sailing expeditions and share our hard-earned knowledge to help others make the leap to a life at sea.

In 2023, Alex sailed across the Pacific Ocean as a part of the plan to bring Trim back from US to Australia. He sailed solo from Panama to Fiji — over 6,500 nautical miles and 44 days at sea. 🌊⛵
From leaving the lights of Panama City behind, to crossing paths with whales, dolphins, penguins and seabirds in the middle of nowhere, this voyage was full of moments that felt unreal.
Some highlights:
• Galápagos Islands wildlife encounters
• Breathtaking landfall in Fatu Hiva, French Polynesia
• Catching lots of fish between on the way to Fiji
• Company of 30+ false killer whales
• Reunion with Agata in Savusavu
This delivery-style crossing came with compromises: staying apart and rushing through some of the most amazing places on the planet but it was all part of the plan to bring Trim back home.
Now we’re getting reading for the biggest voyage yet, this time together.

What a month 💫🥴
Some of these jobs have been on our to-do list since we completed the majority of Trim’s refit over in the US.
We’ve been sailing just fine since then, but the voyage ahead calls for a seriously thorough prep 💪
Our plan is to sail from Sydney, Australia to the Mediterranean via South Africa over the next 2–3 years. 🌊
That means rounding the Cape of Good Hope, covering roughly 20,000 nautical miles, and completing our circumnavigation aboard Trim. A boat we built ourselves. 🌍
We’ve done a lot of sailing, but with the prep work and this next big chapter approaching, we’re feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.
Still, like with any other big life decision: you never feel fully ready… you just go for it ⛵️
