Hailing from the friendly island of Tonga , growing up in a family of 6 boys , Joe quickly found his talent in hair cutting up family and friends.
1991-Kelston Boys - Joe quickly exploded into the cutting scene catering to the needs of teachers and both samoan and Tongan cultural groups.
1997- Upon playing rugby in the UK , Joe landed his first barber Job at an old barbershop North of Yorkshire England.
1998- returned to NZ where he wanted to further his knowledge and attended NZ Academy Of Hairdressing - fashion & formal shows.
In the same year Joe scored an opportunity to work as a hairdresser in the first Urban barbershop in West Auckland the famous Kim's Cuts.
While working he also completed his units in NZQA in Barbering.
2005- Cutting Crew
2007- Owned and operated WESTCOAST BARBERS
2011-2015 He is currently the senior barber at The GodBarber Burleigh Heads.
