Flying in a helicopter from Wanaka to Franz Joseph and Fox Glacier is definitely up there as on one of the most insane experiences of my life. The view over the Dobson valley and the surrounding area is breathtaking. Soaring overtop of huge ice crevasses and sheer rock faces, sun setting in the background. 🙏
