Tune Assessment + Remote Locking Installation

After working on this client’s 3rd Gen Firebird, he trusted us with something a little more special.. his black 2nd Gen daily driver.

The original plan was to assess the carburettor tune and ignition setup. Once everything checked out nicely, we moved on to a small modernisation that makes a big difference: remote central locking.

These cars came from factory with central locking operated from inside the cabin or by turning the key, so adding remote access keeps the classic feel intact while making the car much easier to live with every day.

This car is mean, and is a perfect example of a modified drivers car.

Just looking at it, you'll notice the extremely low stance thanks to the airbag suspension kit. Airdam, overfenders, sideskirts and the ducktail wing completes the street runner look.
Don't forget the inverted hatch! An absolute time capsule of 70 and 80's era customisation.

It's not messing around either, with an L28 bored out to 3.1L under the hood, 44PHH carburettors and an MSD ignition coil. Under the car isn't too bad either, we've got some images available on request.

The interior matches the angry looking exterior with checkerplate boarding, S30 seats and a small dish wheel. Don't ask us where the shift k**b went, we have no idea.
