Been a while since we've posted!
Seems our new AI overloads don't like MX'5-s 🤣

Our first mechanical failure - wheel bearing gave up! Started to get severe brake pad knock-off, got so severe the wheel felt like it was almost going to fall off.

All replaced - we've lost 30 mins and car no longer has ABS - but we should hopefully still finish 2nd!

In retrospect these are known failure items and this car has probably done 2000+ laps since they were last replaced...

It's fixed! Successful day shaking down the Evo ready for Snowy River Sprint 2022 in a fortnight.

Well, mostly fixed. The inside door latch for the passenger doesn't work - but that's fine, the navigator can just sleep in the car.
