Our Year 5 and 6 students participated in the Resuscitate a Mate program delivered by Life Saving Victoria. Through this interactive hands-on session, students learnt important life-saving skills, including how to assess an emergency situation using the DRSABCD action plan, perform CPR, and call for help in an emergency.

These valuable skills help empower our students with the confidence and knowledge to respond appropriately in an emergency and potentially save a life. A big thank you to Life Saving Victoria for providing this engaging and educational experience for our students.

The Rugby League incursion, delivered by NRL Victoria as part of the National Rugby League (NRL) Australia's community engagement program, was highly successful, with students demonstrating excellent engagement, enthusiasm, and participation throughout the sessions.

Students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn new skills, work collaboratively with their peers, and experience a sport that many had not previously played. The positive feedback received from students highlights the value of the program in promoting physical activity, confidence and teamwork.

Last week, secondary students at our Springvale Campus took part in Clean & Green Week. As part of this initiative, each form class was assigned a lunchtime cleaning duty to help keep our school grounds tidy.

This initiative encouraged students to demonstrate responsibility, teamwork and respect for their shared spaces. It was great to see students taking pride in their campus and working together to contribute positively to the school community.

A clean school is everyone's responsibility and our students did a fantastic job doing their part.
