Killester is a school that prides itself on providing a strong, broad curriculum in a caring environment based on Gospel values. In the current social and educational climate, we seek to provide education that empowers students to become life-long learners, who can think critically and achieve their potential. We want students to become adults who are confident in their interactions with others and can make positive contributions to society.

❄️💙 Solidarity Assembly 2026 💙❄️

Today, our College community came together to launch our Winter Appeal in support of the St Vincent de Paul Society and to reflect on the power of compassion, generosity and community.

We were honoured to welcome Desi Jhureea, Manager of the Springvale Vinnies store, who shared inspiring stories of the incredible difference made every day by selfless volunteers across Australia. Her message reminded us that even the smallest acts of kindness can have a profound impact on the lives of others.

We were also delighted to welcome the Grade 6 Justice Leaders from St Joseph's Primary School, sharing with them Killester's commitment to social justice and service.

During the assembly, we officially announced our Winter Sleepout, taking place in August, and enjoyed a fabulous fashion parade showcasing the wonderful clothing available through Brigid's Blessing - where compassion meets community. 💚♻️

This inspiring initiative, run by our Year 11 VM students, promotes clothing sustainability while raising funds for charities and causes close to the heart of Killester.

And finally, a huge thank you to our wonderful models, whose professionalism, confidence and style may well have attracted the attention of a modelling agency or two! ✨📸

Together, we continue to live our values of Strength and Kindliness, serving others with courage, compassion and hope.

💙❄️🤝💚♻️✨

🌟 Building connections with our future students! 🌟

Our Year 8 Transition Leaders recently visited the Grade 5 students at St Joseph’s Primary School, Springvale, where they facilitated a series of fun and engaging games sessions 🤝💜

The Grade 5 students enjoyed meeting our leaders, participating in the activities and learning more about life at Killester. At the conclusion of each session, our leaders shared their experiences of the College and presented students with a Killester information bag 🎒✨

A reminder to families that applications for Year 7 2028 are now open.

📅 Online applications close Friday 14 August 2026

We look forward to welcoming the next generation of Killester students! 💫
