Hi everyone,
I have been told that Springfield Lakes Toastmasters is coming to an end. Apparently, the membership has dwindled over the years and finally the Toastmasters International has apparently deemed Springfield Lakes Toastmasters club as unviable.
That makes me sad. No, it actually breaks my heart. Having joined Springfield lakes Toastmasters club in 2015, it has contributed a lot to my personal development, leadership skills and public speaking skills.
If you have been associated with this illustrious club in any capacity, please join us on Saturday 22 April at the Springfield Tavern, Springfield from 1600 hrs onwards for a drink and a chat.
I don't want to say farewell yet as I believe that we will rise again like a Phoenix. Let us turn this around and continue being a successful club.
Any ideas and suggestions are welcome. More importantly please do come to the social event this Saturday at the Springfield Tavern.
