We’re excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Spanline Home Additions Mackay!

My name is David Woods and I’m proud to be born and bred right here in Mackay. My wife Fiona has also called Mackay home since 1988, so taking on a local business with such a strong reputation really means a lot to both of us. This isn’t just a business venture for us – it’s about carrying on a name that has been trusted by so many families in our community.

Fiona and I first met back in 2005, tied the knot in 2009, and since then we’ve been blessed with four wonderful children. Like many parents, we’ve spent years pouring our energy into raising our family while also giving back to the community we’re so proud to call home. Stepping into the role of business owners is something we’ve dreamed of for a long time, and Spanline Mackay is the perfect way for us to combine that dream with helping other families achieve their own. Creating spaces where people can relax, entertain, and make memories is something that excites us both.

We’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to Chris and Carmel, who have built an incredible business and have been so kind and generous throughout the handover. After plenty of hard yakka, sleepless nights, and more than a few “beverages” (hot and cold!), we’re finally here.
