💚 WORLD OCEAN DAY 💚

The children took part in a variety of engaging activities to recognise and celebrate World Ocean Day.

Throughout the day, they explored the importance of keeping our oceans clean, protecting marine life, and understanding how we can all help care for the environment. Learning experiences included group discussions, stories, creative art, and sensory play, encouraging curiosity and hands-on exploration.

These experiences supported the children to develop environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility for the world around them, while fostering their natural curiosity and imagination.

This learning aligns with the **Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)**, particularly Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world, as they explored sustainability and their role in caring for the environment.

It was wonderful to see the children engaged, sharing ideas, and showing care and interest in protecting our oceans.

June is shaping up to be an exciting month filled with learning, creativity, and special celebrations!

This month, the children will be participating in a variety of experiences and activities that encourage exploration, connection, and fun.

As the weather becomes cooler, please remember to pack warm clothing, including a jumper and jacket, and ensure all items are clearly labelled.

We look forward to sharing another wonderful month of learning and discovery with all our children and families!
