Yesterday was 🎉National Family Business Day 🎉(although as anyone would know a Family Business is 24/7 365 days of the year)! We wanted to take a moment to recognise the immense impact that family businesses have on our society. They're the backbone of our communities, and we couldn't do it without our extended family – our dedicated staff and shareholders - the Bourner, Hanna, Lang and Willocks families.👍
It is estimated that only 33% of family controlled businesses survive to the third generation. That's why we're so excited to be celebrating 60 years of Smithbridge Group next year. We are a proud third generation family business with locations in Australia, New Zealand and Guam.
We wanted to stay a massive thank you to our supportive community that has helped build the business to where it is!
It is a great day to acknowledge all the hard work that the Family Business Association and family businesses around the world contribute to the economy. Happy National Family Business Day!
