Life in Balance Co.

My friend invited me to join her in Alice Springs a few weeks ago where she would be competing in a mountain bike event. Of course I jumped at the chance. My gorgeous parents and Aunty still live there and it had been 6 years since I’d been ‘home’. I moved to Alice when I was 5 and left in my early 20’s to move to Darwin.

I insisted on taking my friend Tiff to Uluṟu. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen it (and even climbed it!) but it never fails to send a chill down my spine. It is a magical place indeed and perhaps it was the universe or maybe just the nostalgia of being back in my homelands that caused my ‘why’ to shift, not entirely but noticeably.

Is there a special place or more that you feel a deep connection to?

Flashback to beautiful Bali in June...its crazy winter weather here in Perth and I would teleport myself back there in a heartbeat if I could!

Are you entrenched in your comfort zone? What bold steps would you have to take to achieve your dreams?

My bold move was to 'put myself out there'. I was crystal clear about my goals but until I invested my time into personal development I could never have fathomed this particularly bold move.
