❤️ Coming into Easter, I set an intention and challenged myself to forgive and let go of any resentments I might have been carrying moving forward. I didn’t want to carry this energy, it wasn’t serving my heart or my emotions. I had been going through some hard lessons, but I didn’t want it to change my heart and stop me from loving life. I knew that in order for me to move forward, I had to let this part of me end. For every ending, there is a new beginning. Forgiveness starts with forgiving yourself first and forgiveness isn’t about forgetting. It’s about choosing peace over pain. It’s freeing yourself from being the prisoner of your mind and choosing a new way. Receiving the grace of freedom.

When we hold on to anger or resentment, we keep ourselves anchored to the past. But forgiveness, is about freeing us.

Today, let yourself soften.
Let your heart open.
Let go—not because they deserve it, but because you do.
