do you know how to wash your velvet?
velvet doesn’t need a wash after every wear. when the pile becomes flat or shiny, it’s time for a gentle cycle in the washing machine 🧺
✨pop in the dryer for 30-50 mins to fluff up the pile
✨ or air dry on a hanger for a more crushed-velvet look
raindrops can flatten the pile too - a quick wash will bring it right back! And for stains? spritz with a pre-wash spray before machine washing
better care means longer wear!
