Homestyle Point Cook Manor celebrated International Nurses Day with a special high tea shared between residents and staff.

Residents delivered heartfelt speeches to thank and recognise the nurses and care team for the compassion, dedication, and support they show every day. It was a wonderful celebration filled with meaningful and memorable moments together.

Residents from Homestyle Point Cook Manor enjoyed a beautiful morning cooking session in the garden.

For morning tea, residents made a delicious sage butter pasta using herbs picked fresh from the garden. The autumn weather was perfect, and the wonderful aroma filled the air as everyone joined in to help with the cooking.

Residents enjoyed helping stir the butter and watching the pasta come together. To finish, the pasta was topped with cheese and enjoyed outside in the sunshine.

Cooking is always therapeutic, and spending time cooking outdoors in the autumn garden made the morning even more special.
