It’s Migraine Awareness Month, and this often debilitating condition affects approximately 4.9 million Australians^.
For people living with migraine, the impacts can vary from person to person. There are a variety of treatment options available. Physiotherapy can be a useful management option for some people with migraine.
Everyone experiences migraine differently. A physiotherapist will listen, assess and work collaboratively with you to structure an individualised management plan. This may include detailed advice and education related to your migraine, hands on treatment and exercise therapy.
Understanding migraines and recognising what aggravates and relieves them can be an important step toward managing this condition.
If you suffer from migraine, our friendly team may be able to assist.

Research indicates that prolonged sitting (more than eight hours per day) combined with no physical activity is associated with a mortality risk similar to that of obesity or smoking^. Scary, right?
Fortunately, it’s easy to make small changes to your lifestyle to mitigate this risk.
