This term, Prep students have been learning how gardens provide food, shelter and enjoyment for people and living things. Students visited the sensory garden where they participated in watering plants, digging in the soil and investigating the compost to learn how gardens are cared for. Using their new knowledge, they worked collaboratively to design and create their own gardens using a range of materials. It was wonderful to see their creativity, teamwork and growing appreciation for the natural environment.
