Judging for the 2026 SunSmart Design Challenge is complete!

A huge thank you to all the talented students from Curtin School of Design and the Built Environment who participated. The quality of entries was outstanding, making it a very tough decision for our judges.

The winning student will now work with Cancer Council Western Australia and Ruck Rover General Store to refine and manufacture their design, which will be revealed at the official launch in October.

We’ve been running the Improve Your Long Game program in WA since 2022, and in that time, we’ve helped more than 65 golf clubs reduce the risk of skin cancer for players.

We’ve distributed more than 1,700 resources including sunscreen stands, over 400L of sunscreen, informational posters and flyers, as well as attending events such as the SportWest Industry conference to support the wider sporting space.
