From parks and reserves to roads, footpaths and public spaces, our teams have been working to restore safe access and keep Perth moving.

In Australia, July is typically the coldest month of the year. While the winter solstice (shortest day of the year) occurs in June, it takes time for the land and oceans to cool down, resulting in the lowest average temperatures in July.

While Queensland does experience a winter season in July, it's generally mild compared to other regions of Australia and the world. The "coldest" month in Queensland, like Brisbane, still sees average maximum temperatures between 11°C and 21°C, with nights occasionally dipping to around 9°C. This is due to Queensland's location and climate patterns, which include a dry season that can lead to warmer days and cooler nights.
