Had a great catch up last week with Craig from Professional Pc Support in Malaga. PPS is run by two families. From humble beginnings they are rising to a significant business within their chosen area of small and family owned businesses and local government through our great state.

Craig has been in business for 27 years so has gained the understanding of what these smaller businesses and shires need. 👌👊👍

They are not location bound to the city either, PPS will travel to the outlying and local governments and businesses to help their clients with any of their IT needs. 🛩🚗🛵🚁🛶 They do it often. That’s just what they love doing. Helping their smaller clients navigate the IT jungle and get their problems sorted. 👍 Trust is the other thing PPS is known for. We recently ordered two sticks of genuine memory from HP for a notebook. The wholesaler shipped it direct from Singapore - no problem with that except for the amount of the packaging. They shipped it in two boxes, each one has a plastic holder to hold two memory sticks - one being empty. The two boxes were then packed into another box with padding taking up about 80% of the volume. Here's my beef:

There is twice as much plastic waste as necessary. There is at least 10 times as much cardboard waste as necessary. The cost of shipping the large box air freight would have been quite high. And finally, we have to dispose of all this useless packaging.

HP, please get with the environmental program.
