Celebrating Afro-Peruvian Culture Day! Did you know the iconic Peruvian Cajón was born out of resilience? When Spanish colonial rulers banned African drums, enslaved people used wooden fruit crates and shipping boxes to keep their rhythm alive 🇵🇪✨
