Council Election results: A new Councillor joins, and four re-elected!

At REIWA’s 106th Annual General Meeting (AGM) 25th September, the 2024-25 Council was unveiled, with four incumbent Councillors securing re-election and one new member joining the Board.

Suzanne Brown, Robert Mandanici, Mark Hay and Clare Christiansen were all re-elected, continuing their contributions to the Council.

Brendon Habak has been elected as the newest Councillor.

There were nine nominations vying for the five vacant positions.

REIWA President Joe White said each nominee had a strong desire to play a key role in the industry’s future success.

“The dedication shown by these four re-elected Councillors demonstrates their unwavering commitment to shaping a prosperous future for real estate in WA,” he said.

Mr White said Mr Habak was a welcome addition, bringing valuable expertise and fresh perspectives to the Board.

“Brendon’s deep knowledge of real estate sales will play a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the industry,” he said.

"We’re enthusiastic about the unique insights Brendon will bring, supporting REIWA's ongoing growth and success.”

Mr Habak is the current Chair of the REIWA Sales Network Committee and multiple winner of the REIWA Residential Salesperson of the Year Award.
