๐ Happy Motherโs Day to every mum today ๐
To the mums raising tiny humans, the stepmums, grandmothers, chosen mums, hopeful mums, and those carrying motherhood quietly in their hearts โ today we celebrate you!
To the dog mums raising fur babies, with muddy paw prints on the floor and unconditional love curled up beside them, you are so very special ๐พ
Thank you for the comfort, strength, patience, care, and love you give so freely every day. The world is softer, safer, and kinder because of you ๐
Wishing you a beautiful Motherโs Day filled with love, cuddles, wagging tails, warm cups of tea, and moments that remind you just how appreciated you are. ๐ธ

We are saddened to share the passing of Matthew from A1 Pet Meats, a continued supporter of the RRCWA ๐ช
Over the years, he was really generous in sponsoring our shows with wonderful treat donations, and many of our members relied on his fabulous fresh pet food. His support of the club and our community meant a lot to us.
Weโre grateful for everything he gave to the RR community and will remember him for his ongoing support.
We are thinking of his family and work colleagues ๐

We thought we'd share some training information with the Ridgeback community.
This morning the Travelling Ridgees attended a Snake Avoidance refresher with Animal Ark Snake Avoidance Training for Dogs who also provide Bait Aversion Training, but more on that in a future post.
Not only do Animal Ark provide awesome training they've provided sponsorship for RRCWA shows so they're all round top people ๐
Woody and Marni have completed this training twice before, but refresher training is recommended and as the their name suggests they're travelling dogs so better safe than sorry.
After a quick chat with the Animal Ark team on how the training was going to proceed it was time for Marni to strut her stuff.
The first encounter was with a free ranging Woma python, as you can see while it's a pretty snake Marni wanted nothing to do with it.
We then moved it into the bush and a cleverly disguised and contained Tiger Snake. This one took a moment longer for Marni to get the scent of but once again when she got it she chose to give it space.
2 down 2 to go. A bit further around and a Dugite this time, again contained for everyone's safety. Another wide berth and we're 3 for 3.
And the final encounter with a moving woma and high fives all around for a 4 for 4 run.
Woody had his turn and also passed.
Woody and Marni's parents have witnessed them both actively avoid snakes in the wild so have no doubt the training works.
