To celebrate International Day of Happiness, we'd like to give a shout-out to all the occupations that make every day a happy one, including Recruitment Consultants. 😊
At the heart of recruitment is this basic reality: You help other people.
Whether you’re helping an organisation desperate to fill a role or assisting an individual as they make the next step in their career, doing a good job has real meaning and can sometimes fundamentally change lives.

Happy anniversary to us! 🎉
Today we celebrate 13 successful years of business! Thank you for being on this amazing ride with us!
Giving our candidates the best career opportunities and our clients the best talent is what motivates us to grow and thrive each and every day.
Thank you for your support and inspiration over the years.
By 2030, soft skill-intensive occupations will account for two-thirds of all jobs, whereas in 2000 only half of all jobs were soft skill intensive (according to Deloitte’s “Soft skills for business success” report).
As one of Perth’s leading Recruitment Consultancies, we are seeing a significant increase in candidates enhancing their soft skills to improve career prospects - backing up this predicted growth.
On the whole, soft skills are employability skills and are rated subjectively. They define how well you work with others (as opposed to hard skills which are appraised objectively).
Which soft skills do you value the most?

Coffee, anyone? ☕️
Coffee meetings are a very effective way to network, but there are do’s and dont’s when catching up for a coffee.
"If they gave you any advice (resume, resources to look into), do that thing and follow up to let them know you did it. This is a great way to keep the conversation going beyond the first call and establish trust." Says Reno Perry - Wiseful.
Here are some tips to help your coffee catch-ups amount to something beneficial:
☕️ Confirm how much time they have (after a thank you)
☕️ Share why you wanted to meet
☕️ Keep 3 conversation starters up your sleeve
☕️ Make a human connection eg “What’s your dog’s name?”, “How are your kids?”
☕️ DBAE - Don’t Be Anywhere Else, simple but it works! Turn off your phone and keep it out of sight
☕️ Ask for intros
☕️ Ask to keep them updated so you have a reason to reach out in the future and make sure you follow up (if required)
☕️ Send a follow-up thank you text.
