From 1 July 2026, the quarterly super window closes. Super gets paid on payday, every payday, and it needs to reach the fund within seven business days.

For some businesses, that's a straightforward software update. For businesses that have been using the quarterly buffer to manage cashflow, it's a bigger shift. The new penalties for missing the deadline are issued automatically, with no human review.
