Huge, huge thanks to everyone who came out on a rainy night to celebrate the opening of my little show ‘Cutouts’ and to listen to my chat with artist Kevin Robertson about our experience with the City of Belmont mentorship award. You can go and visit my paintings at The Artist’s Place Gallery, first floor of Ruth Faulkner library in Belmont until October 1st.

One week until you can visit Ruth Faulkner Library to see my Cutouts exhibition. If you're there on the evening of the 8th you can also come along to the talk I'll be doing with my fantastic mentor, artist Kevin Robertson.

"With the Art Awards exhibition just around the corner, we're celebrating the creative talents nurtured through our Mentorship Program. This program pairs emerging artists with experienced mentors for one-on-one guidance, studio visits, and professional advice.
Our 2024 recipient, Anne Farrell, has been working closely with her mentor, Kevin Robertson, to refine her artistic practice.
Reflecting on the experience so far, Anne said, "having the opportunity to receive feedback and mentoring from such a reputable artist as Kevin has been an incredible
experience. The mentorship not only helped me refine my artistic direction but also reignited my passion for creating."
Mentor, Kevin Robertson, added, "watching her work develop during the mentorship has been a highly rewarding experience."
