parkrun (http://www.parkrun.com/) is a not-for-profit organisation established in the United Kingdom in 2004 to provide a free, weekly, timed 5km running event to every community that wants one. There are now over 220 events worldwide with more than 30,000 runners participating every Saturday morning. Events are organised by local volunteers with support from parkrun.
The birthday celebration started with a line dance to warm up before our parkrun! Congratulations Aveley parkrun with your 13th birthday! Well done to all the participants today.
