What’s your off-season plans?
As the final laps of the season wind down, it’s natural to want to park the car, crack a cold one, and take a breather. But before you wheel your Race car into the shed for a well-earned rest, there’s one crucial job you shouldn’t put off — getting your steering box, steering pump, and rear end inspected, tested, and serviced.
Component Specialties is here to give you piece of mind that your equipment is race ready.
Here’s Why It Matters:
1. Your Gear’s Been Pushed to the Limit
From heat races to A-mains, your components have taken a beating. Even if things felt fine at the last meet, high-stress parts like your steering box, pump, and rearend can develop hidden wear, cracks, or failures that only show up under load.
We offer:
✅ Steering Box Dyno Testing & Rebuilds
✅ Steering Pump Dyno Testing & Rebuilds
✅ Rearend Inspection, Service & Repairs
Our bench and dyno testing can detect issues long before they cause a race-day disaster.
2. Avoid Pre-Season Panic
Every year, we see teams leaving things to the last minute — Burning the midnight oil in the lead up to a new season. Beat the rush and lock in your off-season check now.
You’ll have:
• Time to repair or upgrade properly.
• Less stress when next season ramps up
• Peace of mind knowing your driver will have the feel they need to run the cushion all the way to victory lane.
Don’t wait until it’s too late. Get in touch with Component Specialties to book your dyno testing, rebuild, or rearend inspection now — and roll into next season fully prepared.

Don’t play Russian Roulette with your Racecar!
Dyno testing a steering gear after a rebuild or crash is crucial for safety and performance. At Component Specialties our dyno simulates racing conditions to check for internal leaks, binding, response time, and pressure consistency.
After a rebuild, it ensures proper assembly, smooth operation, and no hidden issues. After a crash, it detects internal damage that may not be visible but could lead to failure on the track. Skipping this step is a serious risk, as a faulty steering gear can cause loss of control, crashes, or injuries.
Always dyno test to guarantee reliability before hitting the track.
