Dolly Roca

In support of I thought I’d share this with you today. and the students of Ballarat Grammer School made these beautiful ceramic brooches to raise money for Beyond Blue, an organisation supporting mental health awareness in Australia. My brooch arrived a few weeks ago and it sits proudly on my desk so I can look at it everyday. It’s a daily reminder of how far my son Jarrad has come. Jarrad has ASD (high functioning Autism) and has struggled with high anxiety for as long as I can remember, but the effects of his anxiety have been particularly prevalent over the last 10 years. Now my beautiful boy is 15 and it finally feels like he’s starting to manage his anxiety, and is now starting to enjoy school and his new found confidence. That’s not to say we won’t hit some roadworks in the future but it feels like we are actually getting there and the future is looking good 💕💪💕
