Happy Mother’s Day to those who are mums, those who are positioned as mums, those who take on the role of mum, those whose mums aren’t here, and those who are becoming mums.

However you became a mother, I want to encourage you that no matter the season you are in, you’re doing a fantastic job.

Sacrifice is the one word that stands out to me with motherhood, and today is a day where you deserve to know you are appreciated, acknowledged, valued, and so deeply loved.

We’re in a busy season of the year, with a fresh one ready to begin just around the corner.

God is not moved by money, impressed by things, or concerned about what you lack. He’s watching and waiting to see how you respond to the assignment He’s placed in your hands.

So often, we believe we need to have it all together before we begin, when the first step actually requires nothing tangible, just faith. And faith is what moves Him, moves mountains, and aligns you with your calling and destiny.

Starting small. Showing up anyway. Trusting God in the unseen, and pushing through. I encourage you in this, as I encourage myself.

An early morning coffee + coastal walk at Burns Beach the perfect way to get the endorphins going before the heat hit. Good company, meaningful conversation, and the coffee wasn’t too bad either.
