This special fundraising concert showcases some of Australia’s most promising young guitarists in a vibrant program of solo and chamber works, featuring captivating music, virtuosic performances, and a diverse range of repertoire.

Join us this Friday at 6pm in Callaway Auditorium for a sensational free recital by Emily Hobday. This is one you don't want to miss!

Next up in our recital series is thrid-year classical guitarist Emily Hobday.

Featuring music by Ponce, Assad, Bach, Viloteau and more, this recital showcases the artistry, technique and musical development of one of our talented UWA Guitar Studio students.

Calling all classical guitarists in Years 10–12 – Accelerate! Guitars is back!

Work closely with Chair of Guitar Jonathan Fitzgerald and special guest artists in a program focused on practical, hands-on learning. Through workshops and masterclasses, you’ll receive individualised feedback on your repertoire, while also building ensemble skills as part of the UWA Guitar Ensemble.

The program concludes with a concert featuring both solo and ensemble performances alongside students from the UWA Guitar Studio.

Who can apply?
- Classical guitarists at AMEB Grade 5+ (or equivalent)
- Ideal for ATAR Music students, but ATAR enrolment is not required

Dates: Fridays 24 April - 15 May | 4.30-6.30pm
Concert: Saturday 16 May 2026 | 5pm
