This is it....the grand finale....and what a way to go out, with some killer supports from Neomantra and Chaos Divine before Karnivool send it home.

Doors to our festival beer garden open at 6pm for food and bevs and doors into the main room open at 7:00pm (set times below).

The beer garden is open to the public all night without needing tickets to the show.

We have our resident kitchen Eat Yard on site firing up the kitchen slingin’ you some tasty eats from 6pm to 8:30pm.

Come down early and let someone else cook dinner for you!

You’ve got to try the fried chicken dippers or maybe the pork sliders are more your style!

This event is 100% SOLD OUT. No further tickets will be available online or on the door. If you can no longer make the show, we recommend you sell your tickets through www.tixel.com as a trustworthy place to sell tickets on the secondary market. There are plenty of people looking to buy tickets from a trusted source. We don’t recommend selling tickets on social media platforms as scammers target these platforms (see below). We cannot allow entry for bogus tickets bought from scammers.

🚕 GETTING HERE/PARKING 🚕

We are a 30 second walk from McIver train station or a 10 minute walk from Perth train station.

Free CAT buses also stop about a 5 minute walk from where we are.

There is free parking in our car park as well as on our end of Aberdeen Street after 6pm.

Uber and Taxis are other good/safe options so you can relax and enjoy yourselves.

This is an 18+ event and you may be asked to provide valid photo ID.

Security will be undertaking a thorough bag check at the entrance.

EFTPOS/paypass and cash are all available throughout the venue.

Kim Salmon's Smoked Salmon and Carla Geneve join forces for an intergenerational double-bill for the ages!

Kim's work with The Scientists, The Beasts Of Bourbon and The Surrealists has seen him become a seminal influence on garage and grunge rock, and countless bands including Nirvana, Mudhoney, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, White Stripes, Sonic Youth, The Drones and Spacemen 3. Kim will be joined by his killer Perth rhythm section Pete Stone and Todd Pickett.

The multi award-winning Carla Geneve has just released her second album "Hertz", which has seen her songwriting reach new heights.

The pair will be joined by super special guests Abbe May, who'll be opening the show in solo mode.

This December, 90’s oz rock legends, DEF FX hit Australia’s west coast for the first time since 1996 to kick off the closing week for legendary live music venue, Badlands Bar.

DEF FX were Australia’s trailblazers of electronica in the best era of rock where everyone moshed and danced without smart devices in their hands.

The WA show announcement coincides with Universal Music’s first digital release of DEF FX’s ARIA Gold Album, 1997’s MAJICK featuring the triple J mega hits, Psychoactive Summer, Spell On You and I’ll Be Your Majick, which DEF FX will deliver onstage in original 90’s style, along with indie hits, Surfers of the Mind and S*x Game Sucker.

DEF FX’s enigmatic front woman, rock goddess, witch and bestselling author, FIONA HORNE says:

“I was lucky to live in WA for two years, and now living overseas I cannot wait to return to the magic of the Wild West and bring DEF FX with me! We will TURN IT UP AND PLAY IT LOUD and play your original faves to kick off the closing celebration week for the legendary venue that will always be BADLANDS BAR in our rockin’ hearts!”

The show will feature special guest, female fronted local bands in support of Australian Women in Music:

DEF FX’s return to WA also marks the limited release of a collectible vinyl ‘best of’ by DEF FX. The eleven-track album is called: COLLECT VOL 1 and features Def FX classics, like Surfers of the Mind, Masses Like Asses and Kill The Real Girls. It will be available at the show.
