‘50 Years of Deadly’ Exhibition: Celebrating Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander voices, culture and empowerment.

Please join us for the celebration of work from Ngaanyatjarra artists of the Great Victoria and Gibson Desert areas. Also, works from local First Nations artist Victor Ronan.

2026 represents the sixth year of NAIDOC exhibitions for Victoria Park Centre for the Arts’ Kent Street Gallery. We are delighted to be collaborating with Bush Blossom Gallery and Monadelphous Group in bringing this exhibition together.

The exhibiting artists are Victor Ronan, Jasmine Lawson, Linda Eddy, Marcia Thompson, Joyce Nelson, Melissa Holland, Phillipa Butler, Moya Porter, Sylvia Robertson, Selena Lane, Harley West and Rosie Lane.

The exhibition will be running from 26 June – 14 July.

The Winter Solstice Artisan Pop up is this weekend!

A premium three-day event showcasing the finest handmade products by Western Australian artists and designers. Set in an intimate gallery setting spanning two spaces and a corridor, the Winter Solstice Artisan Exhibition aims to evoke a cosy and warm creative gathering that celebrates the diversity and craftsmanship of WA makers.

Opening Night, Friday 19 June (6.00pm): Join us for an evening of a special Kandyan dance performance by Kishani Wijesinghe, live music by Sanshi Didgeridoo and Praashekh Borkar. a delectable selection of Japanese rice balls available for purchase from Omusubi Natchan.

The Rabari Book Launch , Saturday 20 June (2.00pm): The Rabari Book Launch by The Anjelms Project with Kandyan dance performance by Kishani Wijesinghe.

The exhibition continues on Saturday 20th June and Sunday 21st June 10am – 4pm daily. Omusubi Natchan food truck will also be on site throughout the weekend.

Participating artists: Joanna Hiu, Nicole Francois, Jacqui Hills, The Anjelms Project, Danji+Moto (Danna Stevenson), Ginger Never Cries, Annette Wiguna and Pene Turner.

Free entry. Please note 1.9% card surcharge will apply, cash payment is accepted. Please consider bringing your own bag.

Last weekend to see Lynley Jakowyna's exhibition ‘Fragments of Tranquility’, a collection of delicate mosaic works depicting the Australian landscape. The gallery will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10.00am-4.00pm, in addition to our usual weekday hours until the exhibition closes 16 June.

Congratulations to Lynley Jakowyna on the opening of ‘Fragments of Tranquility’ last night, a collection of intricate mosaic works by depicting the Australian landscape.

The gallery will be open over the weekends, Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00am-4.00pm for this show, in addition to our usual weekday hours.

Experimenting with different techniques and materials, Lynley is constantly challenging herself to develop and extend her knowledge in order to create the desired effects of dimension, realism, reflectivity and perspective of a painterly style of mosaic making.

Running until 16 June.
