What a wonderful term we've shared together! Through our Down at the Farm theme, our dancers explored movement, music, imagination and foundational ballet skills while developing important physical, social and cognitive milestones.

Here are a few of our activities and their learning outcomes:

What’s new at Fairy Floss Ballet?

We have been busy incorporating the Leap ‘N Learn Program to keep your dancer delighted, enchanted and excited about class each week. The curriculum encourages pretend play amongst the youngest students to maintain a positive and nurturing environment.

Pretend play is the most effective learning mode available to children. Dr Annie Spell, child psychologist and co-creator of Leap 'N Learn, says:

"The job of every 3 through 6yo is pretend play. Pretend play is one of the most important aspects a teacher can bring into their early childhood class."

Our Fairy Floss Ballet Program offers many opportunities for your dancer to develop co-ordination, fine and gross motor skills, flexibility and imagination, all through the magic of play based learning.
