We installed 3 manual Ziptrak blinds along with a fixed panel in matching mesh to give these homeowners back their privacy after a new home was built next door overlooking their patio and into the house.

Being east-facing, the blinds also provide excellent protection from the harsh morning sun while still allowing them to enjoy their outdoor area.

The fixed panel wasn’t just for privacy—it was also the best design solution. Extending the first blind all the way to the house would have meant sacrificing headroom and the clean overall look. By using a fixed panel instead, we kept all three pelmets perfectly aligned in one straight line, maintained the extra headroom, and achieved a much neater finish.

Sometimes the smallest design decisions make the biggest difference to the finished result.

Coastal conditions sorted.

We installed 1 fixed panel and 3 manual Ziptrak blinds along the south and west sides of this patio in Secret Harbour — right where the wind and afternoon sun hit the hardest.

Now the space is protected from the strong coastal breeze, while also cutting down the glare and heat from the sun.

A much more comfortable spot to sit back and enjoy the afternoons, without battling the elements.

Another alfresco transformed.

We installed 3 large manual Ziptrak blinds to fully enclose the area. The main goal was to block the harsh afternoon sun, while also sealing the space off from the weather and insects.

Now they can leave the big sliding doors open and use the indoor and outdoor areas as one continuous space, without the drawbacks.
