A new chapter.

Head Studio King Street has now closed.

While this wasn’t the path I had originally envisioned, it was a strategic business decision that needed to be made.

Over the past 18 months, I stepped into ownership with a clear vision. I wanted to build something meaningful, to create a space for growth, and to invest deeply into education, mentorship, and the next generation of our industry.

While that vision didn’t unfold in the way I had planned, what I’ve gained from this experience has been invaluable.

It has challenged me, stretched me, and refined the way I lead, the way I work, and the way I move forward in business.

I don’t carry regret, only clarity.

The journey looks different now, but the direction is clear.

I’m continuing to work independently from Applecross, offering the same personal, one-on-one experience I’ve always provided. My focus remains where it has always been, delivering high-level, considered work to every person who sits in my chair.

And to my clients…

You have been the most meaningful part of this entire journey. Your trust, your loyalty, and the conversations we’ve shared in the chair have shaped me not only as a hairdresser, but as a person and a business owner.

It has been an absolute privilege to look after you.

The bigger vision hasn’t disappeared. It is simply evolving.

Education, mentorship, and the things I’ve always felt called to build are still very much part of what’s ahead. They will just take shape in a different way, at the right time.

Over the next year, I will be slowly rolling out what this next chapter looks like, and I’m genuinely excited for what’s to come.

For my clients, there is a clear way forward. I’m here, I’m working, and I would love to continue looking after you.

A little Perth magic for our gorgeous guest visiting all the way from the USA 🇺🇸✨
She carved out a tiny window in her trip to sit in our chair, and we felt genuinely honoured to look after her. So we crafted something that felt both elevated and full of heart a colour that would let her feel her best while she hit the town with her Perth friends.

We worked with soft, hand-placed ribbons of brightness through her mids and ends, giving her that dimensional, sun-kissed blonde that glows without shouting. The tones melt gently into her natural depth, keeping the look refined, wearable, and unmistakably her.

The finish? Glossy, healthy, and full of warmth the kind of hair that feels beautiful not just in photos, but in real moments, with real people.
