This week is National Road Safety Week and The Kindness Challenge (as part of Soul Gestures Inc) is proud to announce a very special project working with one of our long-time supporters Louise Clarke from The Ripple Effect.

We will be producing a short film version of the powerful talk that Louise has presented in schools about the ripple effect of making one bad decision. It is based on the story of her beautiful daughter Bronwyn who died in a motorcycle accident in 2014. We are honoured that Louise has trusted us with her story and we look forward to making an impactful film, with the support of The Periscope Crew and local students.

This project has been funded by the Road Safety Commission's Community Initiatives Grants Program and we are deeply grateful for the funding for this important work.

A very proud moment for the Crew last night when Everywhere was awarded a High Commendation for Best Sports Coverages for People with Disability at the Australian Sports Commission Media Awards.

It was an incredible night for Producers Ella and James, Roadie Mum Emma and dad Bruce, and EP Michael - sharing the room with the very sportsstars and storytellers who have inspired every one of us.

Thank you to the Australian Sports Commission for this incredible honour and for welcoming us with open arms, to Transplant Australia for cheering us on and to SBS for streaming our little doc. We hear Bruce McAvaney even wants to watch it.

Most importantly, we are glad that Everywhere continues to open conversations about what disability inclusion could look like if we see the talent; and the importance of giving others a second chance through the .

🌟Congratulations to the 2026 City of Joondalup Young Community Citizen of the Year – The Periscope Crew!

This incredible film collective of young people with disabilities, founded in Sorrento, is changing the conversation around inclusion by telling powerful stories from 'every angle'.

Part of Soul Gestures Inc., the Crew works with organisations and councils to champion more inclusive communities. In 2023, they were selected as a film team for the World Transplant Games, creating Everywhere - a moving film about human connection, authentic inclusion and the life-changing impact of organ donation.

Their work showcases the talent and capability of young people with disabilities in the creative industries, inspiring hope and driving real social impact🎬💙

Hello Periscope Crew family. Indee Elphick (Catching Z's) was one of our artists on Everywhere with his beautiful song Be Okay Be Lonely. We are very sad to share that he has been diagnosed with a rare and terminal cancer.

Indee's family shared with us his dream of completing his final album - and is seeking donations in order to fund his last musical project. Indee was in fact the very first musician to sign up for the Everywhere film, and we would love to see him get his songs recorded.

TPC would really appreciate if you could share this gofundme link in your networks to support Indee's humble request. The link is here - https://gofund.me/370ef2c68

Any help you can give to this generous and talented young man would be greatly appreciated. And prayers and love sent his way would be wonderful too. Thank you so much.

We are very proud to share that The Periscope Crew has been named the City of Joondalup - Young Community Citizens of the Year for 2026. It was such an honour to receive this recognition in the community where it all began and where we continue to work to this day.

This award recognises not only the enormous impact of the Everywhere film, but also the inclusion work TPC does in schools and the many films we have produced to help the community see the world ‘from every angle.’

Congratulations to all the Crew and everybody who has supported this journey from Sorrento to the world. Congrats also to every other award winner and thank you City of Joondalup. This means the world.
